ABL Aluminium Components Ltd had Steve Judd, Sales and Production Coordinator, selected for the ES LIVE 2014 Industry Football match at Stadium MK, home of Milton Keynes Dons Football Club.

After a day talking to exhibitors about aluminium extrusion, heatsinks and the anodising process, Steve turned up at the changing room for the team he was selected for to meet his team mates for the evening.

The Tournament was a round robin with each team playing two matches on the MK Dons pitch.

Steve, started and played both matches at Centre Half in the May heat, even scoring a penalty.

Steve said ” It was an amazing experience to play football in a 30,000 seat stadium and on a lovely pitch, the biggest changing rooms I had ever experienced in football”

Steve was asked if it compared to his first love, playing tennis at Wimbledon, which he did years ago, the reply was quick ” No Chance” ” but was still Fantastic”.
